Do whatever makes you want to go to class everyday. If you have the time, you can complete the AA pre-reqs with just about any undergraduate degree (except engineering). If you like bio, and you'd rather study bio all day instead of playing videogames or drinking, choose bio. If I were going to do a bio based degree, I would have chose biochemistry since it gives you the deepest understanding of the discipline (e.g. genetics? based on biochemsitry...it's like the math of biology). Biochem is hard and comparable to physics in physical science, but if you want to study hard every day, it's a distinguishable degree that will prepare you greatly.

Myself? I majored in Spanish because I loved learning about it. Before you science majors criticize me or tell me that it's a "soft" degree, let me tell you that I have all the pre-reqs done and I scored a 32 on my MCAT

I know it's confusing choosing a major, but keep in mind that this is your last time to pursue something in detail that's not medicine-- you'll be doing medicine the rest of your life. I would feel honored if you chose Spanish, and by the way, it's pretty awesome being fluent in Spanish and it helps your application profile greatly! Good luck, let me know if you have any questions, because I have been through the same tormenting agony you are going through.
