Not going to pass the way it is. Sorry CRNA's, anesthisiologists aren't going anywhere. This just makes AAs stronger as leverage against CRNAs.
It will only take a good PR campaign with the title: Do you want a NURSE to be your anesthesiologist? Since the vast majority of Americans assume physicians are the ones who provide anesthesia, quite a good amount of resistance will form to the CRNA lobby, and to CRNAs being the only providers of anesthesia in this country.
That's something no American, except a nurse, would stand for.
