The initial post was a bit of a joke, on my part. There are countless threads (if you bother to search) regarding community college and its effect on applying to any professional school. So let me tackle a few points---

Mike, your stats are great. If you have a personality to boot, you should be fine getting in. What you did was separate yourself from every other applicant by gaining a buttload of experience, scoring well on exams, and the other couple neat things you mentioned.

Everyone else--Especially the person who posted that "I dont think they look at what university/college you go to" you are very wrong. You went to a community college, fine. But Harvard and the IVY leagues are not the only challenging universities in the country and please do not for one second think that your community college GPA will compare to ANY other applicant matriculating from a university. I cant even name how many people I know that spent 2 years in community college, then transferred to a university and the difference was (for some) unbearable. Theres a reason we have community colleges, colleges, universities, IVY's, etc. If your hoping to come to the interview and astound them with you 3.9 GPA from CC and 8 hours of anesthesia---your in for a ride.
