Yea, that's what I was thinking, and I was about to make a subject on this topic as well. I'm glad there are others feeling the same way. I thought this forum was more so to encourage others, give advice, and present the profession in a constructive manner. It shouldn't be about telling them to "get real" if they still haven't had an interview or were wait listed. As for the arguing of mcat vs gre or a school vs another school (those are just examples)... look I understand it's easy to say or bash an idea or someone on the message board since you don't know the person... however, please take a step back and take a deep breath before you write something.
I'll be honest I was wait listed this year and I'm still hoping to hear back... but for others who are just getting started and then they see the responses and attacks... I'm worried that they might have a negative view on our profession and/or us. And I respect everyone's opinion but it is coming off aggressive and negative unfortunately.
