-3.85 gpa with about a 3.75 in my sciences -only had 10 hours of clinical anesthesia shadowing -1150 GRE score -2 time All-American in basketball though, including national NAIA student-athlete of the year in basketball -I am finishing up my last semester and i will be graduating this may before i head to South to start in June. I had really good grades and a lot of awards because of basketball. I was so busy with basketball that i did not have much on my resume in the area of research or shadowing. I think it just shows that they are looking for some diversity and people who are willing to work hard. Also it does not hurt to be different... i might not have had as impressive GRE or shadowing numbers as others, but my basketball background probably made me unique.
