    AA vs CRNA Archived Message

I am a registered respiratory therapist from Canada and I am just finishing up my AA program. Here we insert A lines, and IV. We do almost all intubations and assist the anesthesiologist with epidurals, blocks, etc. We also provide relief in the ORs and we are able to give medications as per verbal order from the anesthesiologist. I was wondering if AA's in the states have similar job descriptions and if it is possible for an RRT to challenge the entrance exam in order take the CRNA course. Thank you for your feedback.
