An NA is a nursing assistant. Become a CRNA. What you will learn as a critical nurse prior to your acceptance into a Nurse Anesthesia program will be of great value. You are considering a life long career path. The A$A purposely severely restricts (by law!)the doctors assistants practice in order to protect MDA earning power. Choose the field with no barriers regarding where and with whom YOU choose to practice. Become a CRNA.
