I do not know about South but with Nova you can pay your deposit which is about 300 to 500 and then lose it if you decide to go else where. It kind of stinks but its better to hold your spot if you are really interested in looking at other schools. Also, if you just talk to Professor Wagner about wanting to look at other schools he is likely to hold off on you deposit till after your other interviews. He really encourages you to look at other schools and make the right decision for you.
