1.No matter what level of education a CRNA has, an introduction to the patient should always include the fact that a Nurse Anesthetist is the one delivery the care What is so arrogant and condescending about identifying who you are? 2. I stop by to help educate those with a false idea of CRNA and AA practice, and answer general questions, DAVE J and I have gone round and round over several issues, I never denigrate AA's just point obvious disadvantages of the field and misconceptions about liability scope of practice ETC. ETC. 3. I am not threatened by AA's for the simple fact they CANNOT, REPEAT CANNOT perform my job, I do not practice in the ACT and god willing never will. Now howzabout you just calm down and just let the discussion roam where it will.
