dd,CRNA No matter what level of education a CRNA has, an introduction to the patient should always include the fact that a Nurse Anesthetist is the one delivery the care. Why give the MDA, who the patient identifies as "Doctor", the erroneous credit for the excellent one on one care delivered by the Nurse Anesthetist? I make sure every patient that I anesthetize knows exactly who I am, a Nurse Anesthetist. I applaud all CRNA who seek advanced doctoral degrees. Just listen at how you sound, you sound like an idiot totally arrogant and unprofessional on all levels. How dare you exclude an AA-C/RNAA-C, MDA, & DOA who do deliver care to patients as anesthesia providers and mid-level provider in or out of the ACT model. Or saying, the erroneous credit for the excellent one on one care delivered by the Nurse Anesthetist? Really dd are you that ignorant and self-center? AA-Cs/RNAA-Cs also give excellent one on one care in the ACT in the same manner as a Nurse Anesthetist (NA/CRNA) in the ACT when the MDA/DOA Attending leaves out of the O.R. after induction they (CRNA) care for the patient one on one through the remainder of the surgery case. It's the same exact manner for Physician extender Anesthetist (PEA-AA-C/RNAA-C) in the ACT when the MDA/DOA Attending leaves out of the O.R. after induction they (AA-C/RNAA-C) care for the patient one on one through the remainder of the surgery case. Physicians also give excellent one on one care delivered by Anesthesiologist Medical Doctor and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Anesthesiologist. Example: MDAs only private practice group and DOAs only private practice group with no CRNAs/AA-C,RNAA-Cs anesthetists in their group. Wake up dd life is to short for all this unnecessary childish and immature acts, honestly if I was a R.N. under any circumstances would I want to socialize with you on any level. You have to much hatred and insecurities towards AA-Cs/RNAA-Cs, which you really need to get over it. Just remember dd every time you disrespect an AA-C just remember your disrespecting one of your own fellow NURSE who happens to be a nurse and a anesthetist as a Allied Health Anesthetist (AA-C) that does the same job you do no difference. #1.Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant - Anesthetist (Allied Health Profession/Physician extender Anesthetist - P.E.A./A.A.-C.) #2.Registered Nurse Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant - Anesthetist (Allied Health Profession/Physician extender Nurse Anesthetist - P.E.N.A./R.N.A.A.-C.) #3. Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Nursing Profession/Nurse Anesthetist - N.A./C.R.N.A.) I applaud all AA-Cs/RNAA-Cs and CRNAs who seek advanced doctoral degrees.
