I started doing research at the CDC during my time in school and accepted a job in healthcare consulting after graduation. While I have seen both positive and negative for both of those areas, I feel like I would enjoy the possibility of having more contact with patients. Also, I feel that if I were to become an AA, it would not remove my possibilities for continuing on in research in the future.
I still feel that public health is a great field. I just don’t feel that an MPH is meant to be my terminal degree.
