    AA Degree Archived Message

I've been in science for four years now after undergrad in pursuit of a PhD. After some real soul searching, I've realized that this track is not what I want to do in life. It's a hard choice but after four years of just not succeeding and rising above the rest, I feel that this career will just not be as rewarding as a degree in which I can fully interact with patients.

My friend joined the AA program up at Case this past year and loves it! He told me that he was hesitant at first but after 6 months he's not sure why he ever thought about med school. Good pay outlook, working with actual patients, and fulfilling. It looks like I just missed the submission deadlines for summer 2009. That means I have until October of 2009 to get everything in order which should be plenty of time.

Would anyone recommend this over medical school? Is AA a license that only works in a few states? Is this job rewarding?
