How far away are you looking to travel? There are all kinds of places in Georgia and Florida to shadow. I believe South Carolina has something weird going on where you can't be a student there but you can work there once you're licensed. Don't quote me on that though, so I'm not really sure about any hospitals in SC other than Rock Hill that have AAs. North Carolina just opened up to AA's in like December so I don't know if there are any AAs there yet. I have heard something about a possible future clinical site in Charlotte which would eventually lead to openings there. If you're willing to head to Georgia there are tons of hospitals/clinics that have AAs. I think AAs outnumber CRNAs in the Savannah area and most likely every hospital in the Atlanta area have AAs working at them. In addition, I'm down in Florida and there are plenty of places to shadow here if you're interested. Let me know what specific area you're interested in traveling to and I will try to find some hospitals in that area with AAs.

As far as a list of states opening in the future I'm not really sure if you'll be able to find that on the internet. Currently it's mostly word of mouth or every now and then you'll see some news pop up on an anesthesia website. This board is also a pretty decent place to find out about new states opening up. Sometimes people, with more information on the subject than me, will mention the latest news on here.
