I see your point. Last year Emory was the only school I applied to and I didn't make it in. Monday I called and spoke to Sharon from South and Laura from Case Western and someone also from UMKC. They were all so helpful and eager to talk to me about their programs and answer any questions I had. The even volunteered to take my name and email and put me on their distribution list. Compared to Emory this is like night and day. During the application process, whenever I would call I almost always was made to feel as though I was bothering them. In general, they just were not helpful nor friendly to me. I do plan on reapplying to Emory next year, but chances are, if I get into another program, I'll go with it. With Case Western I really like the fact that their class sizes are small (12-14). Wouldn't be too thrilled with living in Cleveland though.
