Hi, cm to answer your question AA-C's are not licensed or permitted to work in the state of California as of yet.
But as legislation open more doors for the practice of AA-C's it will only be a matter of time before AA-C's are allowed to work in the other states as well as California.
Whether it's through Licensed or Delegatory, meaning when a Anesthesiologist(MDA)specially request a AA-C under "Delegatory" when they are not licensed to work in certain states(AA-C's).
This is why It's important especially "Anesthesiologist Doctors"(MDA's)and CRNA's who actually work with AA-C's side by side at there place of employment, needs to start supporting the AA-C's and to get the message out to other MDA's across the U.S. states who have not herd of AA-C.
This is why It's very important that "ALL" Allied Health Care Professionals start supporting the AA-C's on all levels as(AHCP).
