Thank you Dave J me and the AA-C profession I'm sure would really appreciate you speaking out on the behalf of the importance of utilizing AA-Cs in Nevada and across the nation. With the critical shortage of anesthesia providers across the nation the only people right now in my opinon that's filling the void are the AA-Cs.

Despite with the large number of CRNAs working across the nation and schools they have, there still a big shortage of CRNAs to fill theses gaps. My question to you Dave J with 32 years of experience as a CRNA what will it take for your society the AANA to acknowledge and gain respect from the AA-C profession ?.

Why is it that the more older CRNAs are much more open to the idea of integrating AA-Cs into a practice, But many of the younger CRNAs have been drilled into the political process that oppose AA-Cs licensure ? Maybe you should be the President of the AANA serious we need more positive CRNAs like your self that respect both Anesthetist CRNAs/AA-Cs.

In closing why the battle between CRNAs vs AA-Cs when Medicare recognize and accept both Anesthetist as Mid-Level Providers as Practitioners. The real question is why isn't Medicare stepping up to the plate seeing to it that AA-Cs have the right and should be practicing in all 50 states just as CRNAs. AA-Cs should have the same rights as CRNAs when it comes to patient care in all settings except being independent which the AA-C profession are aware of that they can not practice solo.

In my recent posting when I use the word Vast or Majority of negative CRNAs I do say Not all CRNAs think like this. And your right not all CRNAs are against AA-Cs my best friend is A CRNA too, I have a female friend in CRNA school as we speak and she thinks having AA-Cs is awesome like she said there's plenty of job for both profession(CRNA and AA-C) doing the same exact job. Why the unnecessary politics she adds no need for it when it comes to the patient, right access better care from both Anesthetist that's what should matter most.
