Hi I'm looking to talk to prospective AA-CRNs who would like to share their view on why you chose AA school over CRNA school. from my past article I mentioned one nurse who received a bachelor of science in nursing(BSN)in 1995 he worked in ICU for 7 years.

He returned to school to receive his Master or Science in Nursing(MSN) with a specialty as an acute care nurse practitioner from Emory University in 2001. He had practice as a nurse practitioner doing liver transplant and cardiothoracic surgery. He have worked with AAs in every hospital he have practiced. he said he CHOSE AA OVER CRNA because he feel he will receive a better education as an AA-C.

My question to you is as an ICU nurse going to AA school dose it make you a stronger competent Anesthetist vs CRNAs because of the Pre-Med curriculum("Hard Science") you must have just like MDAs do, or do you feel the education is equal to a CRNA program ?. Also do you think AA school is much harder than CRNA school ? from my understanding AA school is very hard as well as taking the MCAT(Medical College Admission Test)I really would like to here your input.
