Hi Nancy I would have to say AA-Cs are in high demand. I work at Level One Trauma Center in Texas not one RRT/RCP where I work never heard of a AA/AA-C until I brought it to their attention. There hoping one will open soon in Texas there very interested in becoming a Anesthetist with out having to go to nursing school just to become an Anesthetist. Even the Perfusions(CCP) were unaware of the AA-C perfession and now most of them are interested in becoming an Anesthetist(AA-CCCP). It's all about communication we as Allied Health Profession need to stick together just like the Nurse Profession there's strength in numbers. GOOD LUCK TO YOU IN YOUR AA-C CAREER
