shouldnt it be about clinical competency versus degree?
take a RN with a ADN versus BSN, does the BSN necessarily make that nurse better? i think not.
so the argument about AAs having a masters before CRNAs is pretty weak. what really changed for CRNAs when they transitioned to a masters degree? a thesis maybe? same for the AAs from Case who first had BS degrees. what changed for them? was it an increase in clinical responsibilities or was it just another set of initials after their last names?
