It is possible to get an associates degree in nursing in less than two years. That is the fastest I have ever heard of someone getting a degree.
(Nursing shortage. The response is to churn out nurses with minimal training as quickly as possible. Of course, none of those nurses will be acceptable as CRNA students so the CRNA shortage will not be helped by the increase in nurses. They will still have a rather small pool of candidates, unless they start accepting associate degree nurses which I think is unlikely. )
