Even if a democrat takes office, and universal health care is implemented (which is highly doubtful, do you realize the type of $$ pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and various associations are throwing around in Washington?) it is unlikely you will notice a substantial pay cut. Don't worry about it, you will still be in the top 20% tax bracket in America living quite comfortably.
