I thought I would ask those of you that are AA's, especially those that have been doing this for a long time, if you felt that you are micromanaged. Or does that depend on the Anesthesiologist that you are working with that day? Say for instance, the surgeon asked you to give the patient DDAVP. Can you just give it or do you have to call the Anesthesiologist to ok it before giving it to the patient? I know that AA's work under the Anesthesiologist, but I just wanted to understand how much freedom do you really have to make decisions. THIS IS FOR THOSE THAT ARE AA's ALL READY! SO NO IGNORANT COMMENTS PLEASE!
