Incorrect. My name is Herman and I do not appreciate you nasty, uneducated comments. AA's are not mentioned because of their small number. AA's will fit the new supevisory rule of 7 to 1 or more. CRNA's already can practice independently and will continue to do so. Anesthesiologists will need to supervise more Mid-Level Providers in the future and not less. This is a drastic chanfe from some MDA's current rle as the "solo" provider or rigid Medical direction of 4:1. In your lifetime MDA's are going to run the major medical centers. The supervsion ratios will increase but the MDA will be in charge of the operating room and maybe the ICU. There is plenty of room for the AA provider in this paradigm. You better get used to it.
