It varied a lot. I applied to all but 1 of the schools. Most of the schools took about 2-3 months. But I applied in July so I cannot know for sure how that impacted things.

I can't even guess with regards to interviews, I do know that waiting is stressful and I can understand where you are coming from. You were right for being honest and that usually pays off in the end in life.
