Sorry, I do not mean to high jack your thread but would you be willing to let me know what some of the types of questions were at your Denver interview?

To answer your question in an attempt to help, if I end up going to Colorado I would live alone in southern Aurora. I heard its nicer and from what I have seen you can get a decent place about 15 minutes from campus.
