I have just completed the applications to both South and NOVA, and really hope to hear something in the upcoming months. Yet I am apprehensive that I will due to my stats and would love to hear any feedback or advice. Got my first degree in Biology in 2008 with a gpa of 3.0, prereq gpa is 3.3. After partying to hard my senior year and receiving a DWI in '07 I had to rethink my career path because I knew no medical school was going to accept me. Long story short I ended up going back to school and got another Bachelor's, this time in Nursing in which my gpa was again a 3.0. Have considered CRNA but don't have the critical care experience as I have only worked in cardiology and the ED. Know my gpa is low yet am hoping to counter that with a high GRE score when I take it next month. Just hoping and praying I will at least get a chance to interview. Comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
