The average GRE score at Emory is an 1140 according to their website, so this guy is actually above the mean. I greatly enjoy patient care and all aspects of being an AA, but I only shadowed for 8 hours. I guess that makes me a terrible anesthetist who is only interested in a six-figure paycheck right?
He's actually quite competitive for an AA program as long as he interviews well. What sort of stats should an AA applicant have Reality Check? Where does the line between med school and AA applicant blur?
What "caliber" of student should the profession be attracting? Now it's a requirement to be a physics or biochemistry major to enter AA school? Give me a break man, just because that was your background doesn't make you any more qualified to be an anesthetist. Oh, and I submitted my application three days before the deadline. I hope that enrages you even more, douche.
