I used the word "national" in a sense that it is pretty much universal. Nowhere in the country is it allowed for non-providers of anesthesia (anesthesia techs) to PUSH anesthetics and intubate. You clearly have little verbal context comprehension abilities. Additionally, medicare is pretty much the national standard on practice, and their reimbursement requirements are pretty clear. Unless you don't want to get paid and get sued for malpractice at the same time, I don't see why anyone would allow the tech to PUSH drugs and intubate.
Although you could let the tech do whatever the hell you want, that is your personal choice. However, I invite you to bring a malpractice lawyer into the OR and watch you allow the tech to do those tasks. Kiss you license goodbye. Hell any regular nurse, doesn't have to be a crazy one, would be more than willing to report your ass.
Again, I don't know why you would pick such a stupid fight. And then again, this is a public board and I'm just throwing out common sense here. It is your personal right to act like a moron here.
