Dude, you don't get it and you're just trying to put words in my mouth. I never said you must spend every waking minute studying anesthesia. I talk about spending time having fun and giving yourself breaks during school so you don't go crazy...read my previous posts. You're trying to argue against a stance I never made. All I'm saying is that if you devote, lets say...20 hours a week to a part time job during the program, that's a whole heck of a lot of time that could better be spent becoming a better anesthetist. And the FACT is, there isn't one person that goes through AA school who couldn't benefit from 20 extra hours per week focusing on anesthesia instead of working at burger king (or whatever). Is that so hard to understand? Or do you truly think that there are people that can maximize their potential and still work part time or full time during school, such that they would gain no additional benefit if they didn't work and focused on school full time?
