It could, but would you really want to drag that thing along with the tablet. Maybe you'll need to charge yours more often than I do :-). Remember I charge mine maybe once per week. The rest of the time the KB cable is plugged in. I had also prematurely bought TWO 10' usb to micro usb cables, thinking that I was going to use those as my Wife does with her 10' charging IPad cables I buy her, using her IPad plugged in most times, except when she is using it in the kitchen playing, Gordon Ramsay or Julia Childs>>LOL. She has always used the virtual KB, and is not interested in an outboard KB. I prefer an outboard KB, coming from the Webtv/PC side :-). Also I have this nice THICK extension cord that easily reaches over to where I sit watching TV while using it, and could even run it plugged in with its' supplied SHORT AC adapter, but then would again have to use that virtual KB, and I have very very occasionally, but causes more smudges and fingerprints which drives this OCD person NUTS, a REAL SHORT TRIP>>LOL. Also I have to wonder, would the juice from that charger plugged into that same splitter as the KB, cause damage to said KB???? I don't know :-).
