Our message at Moraine Valley Church in Palos Heights, IL yesterday focused on this. The preacher stated that Malachi is a book of questions-28 to be exact-with which to help Israelites consider their ways. God is reproving Israel for their lack of fervency in their worship and their lack of faithfulness in their walk (our scripture was Malachi 1-4).

The message (which he wanted to get to the people) of the prophet was urgent and an oracle which weighed heavy on his heart. The group the book was written for were once on fire for God, but then cooled off. Questions posed back then-such as "Does God really love us?" & "Is God really just?" apply to us as much today as they did to them back then.

Yah Bless.
