I discovered the German Version a couple of years ago. It‘s called „Die harte Schule der 50er“ (The hard school of the 50s).

I had wondered if this format existed in other countries, so thank you for naming the Italian and the British version. I am in the middle of binging the British version.
It‘s interesting how the setup/conditions in the German and British version are very similar, yet the flavors of the shows are quite different.
