I'm glad you found it interesting. I think we broadly overall are in the same place in terms of how we see spanking and discipline and in how we believe it can "work"

I'm sceptical of how much spanking can handle certain types of real life problems - definitely not to the extent it can on stories. But yeah I think it can have its place.

Like, a hug won't resolve a situation, but it still may feel important to give or receive one in an emotionally difficult time. I think a spanking can be like that. Just cause it won't "solve" the problem doesn't mean it's not needed
