I hate when I write stuff and it disappears into the ether! WordPress lets you set whether comments are never moderated, always moderated, or not moderated after the first approved post. I set my own blog to the last one.

So I figured maybe my comment needed to be approved by you, but usually WordPress has a confirmation screen telling you that. That might be in your settings too -- what people see, I mean.
