It's so nice to hear from you. I don't know if you'll get many responses, though. I think most people have moved on from this message board.

However to answer your question, I am hanging in there. It has been very rough over the last 2 years. I've had loved ones go through all kinds of health problems, and have had my own challenges there too. But so far *knock on wood* I've been very lucky.

Mil's still in Australia, and it's been tough being so far away from her. But hopefully in the next few months we can think about maybe seeing each other again. Keep your fingers crossed that the pandemic doesn't throw any more curve balls!

I've been working from home most days, and unfortunately have not been doing a lot of writing. I have a trip planned in early March (not for pleasure, to visit my ex with dementia)....hopefully I can get some writing done then.

How are things where you are? I try not to focus on COVID too much, in order to avoid anxiety. So haven't heard about how bad the pandemic is in Italy/Europe. Hopefully you and your loved ones have remained healthy?
