The main character is supposed to have been in a catholic orphanage since she was 7. No parents, no real friends except that little boy. The nun there says she never left the orphanage, because she couldn't walk.

If this is all true, her personality is not realistic. The way she talks, the way she thinks about people. She doesn't seem like she had that kind of life. She is too "street" for that.
