Thanks, Alyx and everybody! I had a really nice day despite the pandemic. I met up with family members for socially distanced home-made birthday cheesecake on a blanket in a park right near my apartment building, and Tigger, Micah and Claire, who live between 600 and 2600 miles away from me, arranged to have hand-packed pints of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream and brownies hand-delivered to my apartment from the ice cream shop right near my apartment building! (I couldn’t believe they remembered that a couple of years ago, when the shop first opened and I found out it made deliveries, I had jokingly mentioned that I think the value of my apartment had increased!)
