I'm re-watching LOK at the moment! I'm in season 3 now, but Lin's first appearance in Season 1 when she's got Korra seated at the police station and gives her a lecture... eh, yeah she's SUPER easy to picture as a Top character who could maybe have had a nice bratty girlfriend (Whose personality might not be so different than Su-yin's [her sister's]). of course her relationship became strained with her sister, but maybe a girlfriend as bratty as Su-Yin, but with more of Su-Yin's sensible-ness as she got older, and not quite the recklessness of the young Su-Yin in flashbacks! :D
