I also attended a P, P, & M concert in the mid 60s at Carter Barron Amplitheater in Rock Creek Park, Washington D.C. Bobby & Ethel Kennedy attended that concert, butte they left before the second half of the show, which introduced me to a now longtime favorite, Jim Kweskin & The Jug Band.
