Prayers for all our veterans.

My paternal grandmother was a Gold Star Mother since she had three sons who were in the Army, two who had died while enlisted. Her son John died on D-Day in Omaha Beach, Normandy, France. He is buried in the Normandy American Cemetery. He received a Purple Heart. Her son Henry was accidentally killed by another soldier in New York while enlisted. Her son Joseph (my father) was an Army Police Officer.

My oldest brother Gary was a soldier stationed in Viet Nam.
