Here’s a post I put up 7 years ago!!! It’s about St.Katherine Kasper, who is the founder of the PHJC’s!!! Sr. Lucy had been telling me about how St. Katherine was to become a saint on October 14, in 2018! She was always so excited about her becoming a saint! And I told her I wouldn’t forget the date cuz that was my “half birthday”!!! And sadly Sr. Lucy died in July of 2018 so she wouldn’t be here
for the canonization!!! I felt bad for Sr. Lucy until I realized that Sr. Lucy would see it all firsthand and she would be celebrating WITH St. Katherina herself in heaven!!! It was fun to read the post from 2018!! Don’t laugh too loud at it!!!

The canonization of Blessed Katharina Kasper (the Foundress of The Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ....the Sisters from Angel Guardian). Will be televised on EWTN at 2:30AM-4:30AM in a few hours!!! You can also watch on your computer by going to www.etwn.com and click on the television tab, or on EWTN on Facebook .
I know you are going to bed now and setting your alarm to get up at 2:30AM!!! Or
You can watch the repeat at 11:00AM tomorrow morning!!!! Isn’t God nice???
Also at Midnight on EWTN there is a special show called, Raised to the Altars which is a show that tells the stories of each of the 7 being raised to Sainthood!!!!
Ok tell tell us all about the first time you remember hearing about Katharina Kasper?
The first time I heard about her was in Cottage 43, of course, when Sr.Gregory had a picture of her and we were asking her who she was! She told us name and I remember thinking...well she must be related to Casper the friendly ghost, and I liked that cartoon so she must be Okay!!!!!! Ok...stop laughing...I was only in third grade!!!! And that was a long time ago....but I’ve heard a few other things since then about her and now she’s gonna be a real saint!!! And I feel like I know her ....after seeing her picture most of my life!! WoW!!! A Real Saint!!!! St. Katharina Kasper, friend I’m sure to Casper the friendly ghost, and me!!!

The delegation of Sisters and others from the PHJC Motherhouse will be wearing orange scarves if you can see them in the crowd....
but I’ve heard stories about being at the Vatican.... and it will probably be pretty hard to find them in the crowds!!!! Good Luck!!!
