Can You Do Me A Favor?
Tonight on “America’s Got Talent” 22 young men from Leo Catholic High School in Chicago will be competing in the semi-finals to win this year’s America Got Talent and one million dollars.
Leo is very special to me, as are these 22 choir men. They are very talented and very deserving.
Could you please vote for them?
I don’t know all the rules for voting. So we will both need to figure that out.
The show is “live” tonight and the winner will be declared tomorrow.
Leo HS is a great success story. Primarily an African American all boys high school, this very small high school is increasing its enrollment each year. It is an ongoing success story on the Southside of Chicago.
On the first round of the competition, these young men blew away the other contestants!
America’s Got Talent is a huge moment in the lives of these young men and in the history of this school, which is approaching its 100 anniversary.
Can you take a minute tonight and vote for these great young men from this wonderful school?
It would a lot to me and mean even more to them!

PS: My dad, George Cusick, was a Leo graduate in the late 1920s. I am quite certain he is very proud, as is his son!
