I got a sad message from Homekid Freddy Dontsow’s daughter today!!! Here it is:

“Hello, I’m the daughter of one of your alumni. My father passed this Thursday. Here is what I shared.

Siegfried S. Dontsow-May you rest in peace.

March 30, 1945- January 30, 2025

I am sad to say, that my father passed away this past Thursday. He went quickly and without pain. We are hopeful he is more comfortable now, that his long time suffering has come to an end.

Siegfried, also know as: Fred, Freddy, Parker and Dontsow was born in Germany and came to the US at a young age. He attended Angel Guardian Orphanage from 1961-1965.

He is survived by his 4 children and 7 grandchildren. He will always hold a special place in our hearts. “
