How long is an NFL end zone? A - 3 yards
B - 10 yards
C - 20 yards
D - 50 yards
NFL RULEBOOK Answer: B - 10 yards An NFL field stretches 100 yards, from goal line to goal line, but beyond those markers the field continues into two end zones. The whole field is technically 120 yards long, because each end zone is 10 yards deep. Interestingly, the end zone size is not uniform across all "gridiron" (football-like) games. Our American football has 10-yard end zones, but Canada's version of the game features end zones that are 20 yards deep — with 110 yards between them instead of 100.
