I headed south out of Brooklyn. As I approached Shelley Road at the Motor Vehicle building, I saw a vehicle pulling out that matched the description. It pulled into the turn lane at MVA, behind a few cars at the red light. I pulled in behind it close enough to prevent them from backing up. Alerted dispatch of the car and two occupants.
I turned on my strobe light and approached the vehicle with weapon drawn. Ordered driver to turn off engine and toss keys out. He did. ( I lit them up like a one light Christmas tree.)
I think Lt. Mikesell was the first of many to show up. I don’t remember who the post car officer was. I wonder how many years they got for for it. Unless they went before the judge that didn’t like cops.
