John, not sure what year you retired, but Md. City later became a "priority post". You had to call 10-41 there and a Sgt. or Lt. would come by later to brief you on anything, and collect reports. You could not leave until next shift went 10-41 there. I did midnights there. Once Starting Gate closed not much happening the rest of the night.
