I was shocked when Hank told us at the Retiree's Luncheon. Keith and I stayed in contact after we had both retired.

I remember it like it was yesterday when Keith first got Bubba as his K9. Bubba caught an armed robbery suspect I was in foot pursuit with. I remember hearing BUBBA running up the driveway of the house the suspect was running on, Keith screamed at me...DON'T MOVE right as BUBBA came running past me. About 15 yards away BUBBA had the guy by the leg and would not let go. Keith and I would still laugh about it.

I last saw Keith about 10 days ago at the gas pumps at BJ's. He looked fine and appeared to be in good health. Said he moved to Westminster. Last we ever spoke.
