My apologies Dale. From our conversation a while back, about your task of taking it on your shoulders to clean up your family’s cemetery plots in Brooklyn. I offered my help since I too have friends and family there. I too noticed the lack of proper care at said cemetery. Your son jumped in to help. The salt thing was from my asking of all people, a doctor what causes problems of mobility. Salt she said. So there I went……assuming again. Well with that in mind, I do apologize. But… just learned that a friend got word from his doctor that he is being taken down by high potassium. Who the hell knew that almost all vegetables, especially potatoes, of ALL persuasions, including French fries, (with or without salt)) are now forbidden. Due to potassium. His father had high potassium and had to be carried. Must be hereditary. Just think…..friggin vegetables and bananas off the menu. My doctor, told me “get off sugar”. Holly crap…I did. Everything almost contains sugar. Risk of the obvious disease of diabetes, I did it. She said there was sugar-free ice cream. Found it! And found sugar free candy. Beer contains NO sugar. Thank God. Sometimes we assume too much. I have learned to take advice “with a grain of salt. My nemesis is waiting in the wings and is hereditary. Thank God my dementia side of the family was out of the bloodline. Ask my half sister. Stay well my friends. I must add….my eyesight is perfect. Don’t need glasses at my eight decades of life.
