My Grandfather retired from the Philadelphia Police Department in 1963. When he passed my Grandmother gave me his gold watch the Police Department gave him at retirement and she also gave me his initial issue S&W 6”38 revolver that he put pearl handgrips on. I used to have his 8oz slapjack but, I can’t find it anywhere. I also have pictures of him as a Marine in the 1920’s. He a tough SOB!!
