I was in the passenger seat. I had shattered glass in my Colt 38 that some was probably still in there when the gun was turned in for a S&W 357. I had a riot helmet and shield on that keep glass from hitting my face. The helmet worked good. Holly was the driver and when we hit the plane's wing it shattered the windshield. Holly said " who threw that brick." I said brick hell we just hit an airplane. It was a smaller plane but it was used to carry mail. I do believe that Holly and I are the only A.A. officers involved in a departmental involving a airplane.
